Your details go only to the business you chose, and only when you say so. We do not sell your data. You can delete it at any time.

What we collect

  • Your email address, which you sign in with.
  • Your first name and a callback number, which you give when you ask for a booking.
  • Your picks: what you asked for, the location you gave, the business that was picked and the runner-up.
  • Your bookings: the business, the times you offered, and what happened.

We take your location and your details from what you tell your assistant and from our own sign-in. We do not ask your assistant for anything else about you, and we do not assume it has told us anything.

What a business hears, and when

Nothing, until you confirm. Before any booking goes ahead you see which business will be contacted and exactly which details will be shared. When you confirm, the business hears your first name, your callback number, the service you want and the times you offered. Only one business hears them: the one you chose.

If you are given a booking link or a script instead of a phone call, we share nothing with the business. You contact it yourself.

Call recording and transcription

Booking calls are placed by an AI assistant. Each call says so in its first sentence, along with who is calling, that the call is recorded and transcribed, and a number to call back. The recording and the transcript exist to work out what the business said. They are deleted once the result of the call has been recorded. The company that carries the calls is not allowed to train on them.

What we keep from a call is the result: whether it was answered, the outcome, the confirmed date and time if there was one, and a short note such as the next slot the business offered.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not take payments, so we hold no card details.
  • We do not fetch, store or blend in third-party ratings or reviews.
  • We do not use anything learned on a booking call to market to that business.

Who handles data for us

We use other companies to place the phone calls, to send sign-in codes, to host this service and to run its database. They handle your data only to provide those services to us.

Deleting your data

Ask your assistant to delete your data. The delete_my_data tool deletes your bookings, including the first name and callback number stored on them, your picks, any unused booking confirmations, and your sign-in account. The bookings are deleted, not anonymized.

One record survives, and it is not about you. For each business we keep a log of the calls placed to its phone number: when, the result, whether it was answered, and how long it took. We need it to keep our promise to call a business no more than 3 times in any 30 days, and to learn which businesses answer. It carries no reference to you, and any note or appointment time on your calls is blanked when you delete your data.

If you run a business

Business listings come from open data, described below. If your business received a call, the page for businesses explains it. A request to stop AI calls to a phone number takes effect at once and is permanent, so we keep that number on a do-not-call list in order to honor it. Requests to be removed from picks, and claims to a profile, take effect once we have verified them.

Where business information comes from

The directory of businesses is built from open data: the Overture Maps Foundation places dataset, and the license registers that California, Texas and Florida publish. When a pick mentions a booking link, we read it from the business’s own public website at the moment you ask; we do not crawl booking platforms or store their content. The full notices for each source are on the documentation page.
